The number of amenities increases as condo
markets become more competitive — which
is what seems to be happening right now in
Winnipeg, says Brenlee Coates, marketing
coordinator for StreetSide Developments.
"They provide so much value to the owner.
In more populous cities, everyone is trying to
differentiate themselves and the lifestyle they
offer, so you see new benchmarks for what
amenities are typically included — and lots of
exciting new ones," she says.
"As Winnipeg continues to see more
high-profile developments, we'll only see
amenities increase, as it's a cost-effective way
to attract home buyers and show what perks
can exist in multi-family living."
Some of these perks include common rooftop
patios, such as the one at StreetSide's District
condos at 139 Market Ave. The project also
boasts 16 private rooftop terraces, including
four with direct access from suites.
