This year's show will feature everything for avid boating enthusiasts, from the newest boats available to the latest in motors and accessories. Show manager Dave Amey says it's "the best time to buy a boat" with more than 250 different boats on display under one roof, allowing buyers to easily compare different makes and models in the comforts of the RBC Convention Centre. They can also access a number of different manufacturers' rebates. Anyone who buys at a boat at the show will also get a chance to spin the prize wheel, which includes a fly-in fishing trip. There will also be restaurant gift cards, electronics, gas cards and dealer credit vouchers up for grabs. Another highlight of this year's boat show will be the Hook and Bullet Show, an opportunity for visitors to check out all the latest in hunting and fishing gear and accessories. This is the second year the Hook and Bullet Show has been offered as part of Mid-Canada Boat Show and will occupy 18,000 sq. ft. on the second floor of the convention centre. It is being staged in support of the Manitoba Wildlife Federation. The boat show runs 3-9 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday. Ladies will be admitted free on opening day. Saturday hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 and children under 13 will be admitted free if accompanies by an adult.
