>> "FLEXIBLE" AND
"CONCRETE" aren't two
words you would normally
think to put together, but as a
design medium, concrete has an
astonishing degree of flexibility —
both indoors and out.
Concrete has come a long way
from plain grey driveways and
drab basement floors. Today, your
driveway can be as distinctive as
the rest of your home with custom
colouring, stamping, exposed
aggregates or a combination of
surfaces.
Indoors, it can be used in every
room, enhanced with decorative
edges, curves, and inlays of glass,
steel and other materials. And
with a little sensible care, it will be
beautiful and functional for years
to come.
Square Prairie is a small business
specializing in decorative concrete
for applications such as kitchen
and bathroom countertops,
fireplaces, driveways, pool
surrounds, flooring and more.
"We're passionate about concrete
and we can do almost anything
with it," says Stephane Jolicoeur,
who co-owns the Steinbach-based
company with his brother-in-law
Stacey Heese.
"Our company features new,
innovative designs, including
individual tiles that we fabricate
and install, which are great for
custom wall features, backsplashes
and more," says Jolicoeur.
Now is a great time to build!
