ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE Mortgage Term CAM 21566-Parade of Homes Ad-FIN.indd 1 2018-01-26 4:29 PM Scherger says homeowners might choose combinations of finishes, with the border showing one feature and the driveway or walkway showing another — stamped concrete alongside exposed aggregate, or stamped concrete with a coloured border and so on. "We add different colour dyes to the concrete — browns or reds or blacks, or even a grey, but you can make it a combination of different shades," Scherger says. "So you can get a two-toned driveway in two pours: They form it up, then remove the forms and pour in around with the second colour." Regardless of the design or purpose, outdoor concretes need a special formula. "There are mix specifications for concrete that's exposed to freeze-thaw cycles and de- icing salts, so we supply that, and if they need colour, we just add that right into that mix," he says.
