The Winnipeg Foundation's 2017 Vital Signs® Report identified reconciliation as a central theme for community well-being, and an area
that requires more focused attention and immediate action. The Winnipeg Foundation is committing $1 million to support reconciliation
projects undertaken by local charitable organizations.
Projects will be guided by two documents that lay the groundwork for reconciliation in Canada; the United Nations Declaration on the
Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's 94 Calls to Action.
More information about how to apply, deadlines for applications and criteria can be found on our website. wpgfdn.org
