The ice has re- treated from the lakes, light softens and tulips push upward through soil that has endured its long winter. A fitting season to celebrate the women who have long embodied resilience, renewal and quiet strength. For many, Mother’s Day looks different than it once did. We are no longer crafting cards with construction paper or delivering breakfast on unsteady trays. We are professionals, partners and often parents ourselves. With maturity comes perspective and an opportunity to celebrate our mothers with intention, elegance and grace. This is not a day for obligation. It is a day for appreciation.
