High-Protein Chocolate Mousse

Inspired by the comforting flavours and wholesome simplic - ity of Manitoba’s Prairie kitchen, this high-protein chocolate mousse brings together nourishment and indulgence in a way that feels right at home. Lightened with stevia and pow- ered by protein, it’s a sweet finish that feels both familiar and refreshingly new, echoing the warm, wholesome traditions celebrated across our province. INGREDIENTS: 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder 1 1/2 tbsp stevia sweetener 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp water, plus more OPTIONAL TOPPINGS: Zero-sugar whipped cream Chopped stevia-sweetened chocolate chips Fresh raspberries INSTRUCTIONS: 1. In a high-powered blender, add cottage cheese, cocoa powder, stevia, protein powder and vanilla. 2.

A SPICY TAKE ON A CLASSIC!

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with lots of ice and shake until well-mixed. 2. Moisten the rim of a glass with a lime wedge, then salt the rim with kosher salt or another large-flaked salt. 3. Serve over ice and garnish with a lime wedge and a couple jalapeño slices, if desired.
