T he Beausejour Brokenhead region is growing, and your business could grow along with it. According to a Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Development report, the population for the region has grown from 2006 to 2011 by 10%, far exceeding the average provincial growth rate. The region also has a higher than average percentage of high- income households — more than 40% of household incomes are above $70,000. Based on the 2011 census, the labour force was concentrated in the following sectors: Health care, manufacturing, public administration, construction and retail. During last two years, the Beausejour Brokenhead Development Corporation (BBDC) has welcomed over 20 new businesses, which settled successfully in our community. We were proud to welcome national franchised businesses as well as small business owners. The Town of Beausejour has developed a new, 41.4-acre industrial park with 24 fully serviced lots available for sale for industrial development. We’re looking for manufacturing companies interested in relocating to the area, and there are great opportunities for starting a new business. Beausejour is well located to capture traffic from Tyndall, Garson, Whitemouth, Lac Du Bonnet, Pinawa and other Whiteshell communities. BEAUSEJOUR BROKENHEAD IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS
