T he holiday season at Assiniboine Park includes dazzling displays that will delight the whole family. Whether you’re willing to bundle up and wander through the Zoo Lights exhibit or prefer the milder climates inside the Leaf’s biosphere, there are events and gift ideas aplenty! Zoo Lights will take place from Nov. 21 through Jan. 1 with a sensory night on Dec. 3. This winter tradition takes place in the evening after the zoo has closed. Tickets are available for timed entry for $17.50 plus GST and
children three and under are free. Due to the event’s popularity, it is recom- mended that you purchase your desired date and time early for best availability. The Leaf’s annual holiday display will be on view from Nov. 22 through Jan. 11 called “Luminous,” a celebration of light, wonder and botanical glow. For givers, consider gifting a member- ship to the zoo, The Leaf or both. An an- nual membership includes entry to all regular exhibits, access to special event ticket pre-sales, discounts on meals and retail, and many other benefits.
