A partition with two glass doors sepa- rates the foyer from the rest of the home. Passing through the foyer doors, to your right is a barn door, behind which are two bedrooms and the primary main-floor bath- room. The ceilings in the home are 12 feet throughout the main living areas and 10 feet in the bedrooms. The doors are eight feet tall, with three-inch trim and a six-inch base, adding elegance to every entryway. The dining area is centrally located in front of large windows and the staircase to both the back deck and basement. To the right of the dining area is the great room, divided by a partial vertical privacy screen that echoes the outdoor design, providing an open-concept feel while creating some sepa- ration between the living and dining spaces. “The great room features a large entertain- ment centre with a tile surround. The modern but cozy feel of the home is accentuated by the kitchen’s rift oak cabinets with a smoky grey stain. The kitchen also connects to the butler pantry, making it a breeze to bring in and store groceries.
