The company is just wrapping up a project with St. Amant Centre. They’ve had a hand in the Bruce Oake Recovery Centre, Main Street Project, Lighthouse Mission and Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata’s Astum Api Niikinaahk. “Those are current and recent clients that we’ve been working with to build rapid housing and other socially focused projects,” she says. The majority of Bockstael’s management teams partici- pate with boards, something that is strongly encouraged. “We see our purpose here as to help these organiza- tions achieve their goals, so we can help the community grow not just by what we can build but also through our involvement,” she says. “That’s something that really makes us proud and gives a lot of meaning and purpose to what we do.” ■
