You have a really big slab of granite that has different textures all through it.” Heated floors and heated towel racks add comfort to many ensuites, and A&S Homes has embraced another warming trend — double-sided fireplaces — in a new show home at 327 Stan Bailie Dr. in South Pointe and in a previous show home at 129 Autumnview Dr. “We’ve had rave reviews,” says A&S sales representative Rob Hutchison. “We did it again because we had such a great response to it. It has a two-sided fireplace between the master bedroom and the deluxe ensuite, and it’s over top of the tub. It’s uni- versal because everybody loves it. It really opens up the en- suite and the master bedroom,” he says.
Hearth Homes’ bungalow at 121 Rose Lake Court in Bridg- water Trails is right on trend, with a built-in makeup desk between the dual sinks in the granite-topped vanity. Wickstrom says it’s a natural element that doubles as a beautiful, one-of-a-kind statement piece. “It’s different, it hasn’t really been done,” he says. “It’s a bit more expensive – not as much as you might expect — but
