Vanessa and Ron Ledehowski oversee Gino’s show home.
There’s a multitude of reasons why people look- ing to build their dream home have chosen to build in Deer Pointe, says Huntington Homes’ Rob Swan. “It’s a unique development in the sense of its posi- tioning. Even though you’re very close to the city, you feel like you’re in the country because you’re surrounded by mature forest. It’s a self-contained community that not only possesses great beauty but is as private and quiet as you can find. It’s like living in an enchanted forest. You’re in a world of your own.” Ms. Thordarson says that feedback is music to her ears. “Those are all the things we were after when we were designing the community – a development that was proximate to the city yet that was an en- tity unto itself. Everything in the community was conceived with the idea to provide the highest possible quality of living. We wanted the area to be as natural as possible.” Mission accomplished, says Vanessa Ledehowski, who along with husband Ron oversees Gino’s Homes amazing show home at 40 Deer Pointe Drive. “This is a community that you should choose to make your home in if you want to truly enjoy na- ture,” she says. “I’ve spent a lot of time here and the atmosphere is incredible. Because you’re sur- rounded by all these huge trees and the big lots separate you nicely from your next door neigh- bours, you don’t hear anything. “That makes it a very relaxing place to come home to. You don’t get this level of beauty, space and quiet in the city.” A World Of Your Own Cont’d from page 111
Another of Deer Pointe’s attributes is the fact that each home features a distinctly different design, she adds. “The level of innovation and variety shown by all the builders is impressive. Each home has its own personality, something that I think is very impor- tant. For instance, Gino’s Homes went out of their way to find some unique hardwood flooring that really adds wow factor to the home’s interior,” she says. “When you get a community that’s as unique and special as Deer Pointe, each home should be spe- cial, too.” Mr. Swan says it’s possible that Deer Pointe will be mentioned in the same breath as classic commu- nities such as River Heights and Tuxedo in years to come. “It already has the feel of a mature community. In that sense, it’s similar to River Heights. How- ever, it’s not the same in that it has larger lots with more separation in a quiet setting. It’s a well- planned, upscale development that offers home buyers the opportunity to live in peace and quiet close to the city surrounded by incredible beauty. It doesn’t get much better than that.” Add a select group of builders to the mix and you’ve got a community with unlimited poten- tial, Ms. Thordarson says. “There are six builders to choose from – Artista Homes, Gino’s Homes, Huntington Homes, Maric Homes, Parkhill Homes and Southwynn Homes. Each builder will bring something different to the community along with delivering a unique, high-quality home at a great price point to their clients. “We’re very pleased with how our vision is unfold- ing and look forward to seeing it come to fruition in the next number of years.”
