>> As far as communities in Winnipeg and on the city’s out- skirts are concerned, Kingswood South doesn’t enjoy the fa- miliarity of, say, Bridgwater Forest or South Pointe. Yet, the development – found off the perimeter on Highway 330, only a short drive from south Winnipeg – continues to win the hearts of consumers in steady, if not spectacular, fash- ion. “We’re now into phases five and six and they’re virtually sold out with only limited inventory left,” says Tim Comack, Vice- President, Land Development for Ventura Land Company. “The response continues to be nothing short of amazing. “Eight years into its existence, it’s an established enclave in La Salle. The reason for that is that it has so much going for it.” The first factor that makes the area a great place to call home is its natural, countrified surroundings, which Ventura has tried to leave intact as much as possible. “Countless people have told us the moment they set foot in the community they were struck by its unmatched beauty. That beauty comes from a variety of sources. There are amaz- ing golf course views, prairie vistas that stretch as far as the eye can see, river and parkland views that feature scores of mature trees,” Mr. Comack says. “Few, if any, communities can offer the varied beauty that Kingswood South does.”
