Windeck is also fielding far more requests from homeowners who want a hot tub to be a primary focus of their new deck. Some of the more popular designs include privacy panels, frosted glass walls and even louvered windows. While a deck is a great place to soak up some sun, you can get too much of a good thing. Pelland says that’s why shaded structures, including overhead canopies, have become a more common feature.
