“People want things that are easy to clean,” Fedyck says. “We’re seeing more and more floating vanities, which make it easy for people to clean the floor underneath.” Bergstrom says the most popular choice to top the vanity is a drop-in sink, as opposed to an undermount style. “These sinks have a nice detail to them. They’re a bit more dramatic, with an oval, almost boat-like shape. It makes the look completely different, and makes a beautiful statement,” she says. “It’s a modern upgrade, and in a lot of instances the cost comes out to be equal to an undermount sink. People also love the look of square sinks.” Single-hole, minimalist industrial styles for faucets are growing in popularity, as well. “There are some beautiful ones on the market this year. Rose-gold is very, very big in finishes right now, as is matte black,” Bergstrom says.
