Kensington Homes’ sales manager Ryan Alby says today’s building code has raised standards across the board, and attached homes are solid, quiet, and well designed. “The only difference between them and single-detached homes is that they take up a smaller footprint, and you’re just sharing a wall.” While lot sizes may be smaller, the footprint of various models is still substantial, with homes ranging in size from about 1,300-1,800 square feet. Side-by-sides have completed the housing mix in desirable communities such as Bridgwater Trails, Devonshire Village and Starlite Village, to name a few, and they’re designed to provide plenty of curb appeal.
