The vehicle entry fee of $15 includes a pancake breakfast, photo of your car, and trophies in the following categories. Best in Show, Best Paint, Best Student Vehicle, Best Alumni Vehicle, Best Mod, Best Work in Progress. Live music, BBQ lunch, and more. Gates open 8:00am, Registration is on- site until 11am. 9AM - 4PM We leave the Altona Sun Valley Co-op parking lot at 10:00am, there are stops along the route including a stop for lunch. From here we head to a destination (to be determined) and have our tour. After the tour we head back to Altona for a free BBQ dinner. We ask that the participants raise pledges. Pledge sheets are available on our web site: legendscarclub.ca by clicking on the Drive for Cancer button. We also have a poker derby at each stop where we pay out a portion of the pot to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. All our proceeds raised go to the South Central Cancer Resource. EVENT LOCATION: ALTONA, MB Irv Loewen SUNDAY, MAY 26, 2024 ROAD REBEL 3RD ANNUAL POKER DERBY & CAR SHOW BBQ Fundraiser Family BBQ in support of the Elspeth Reid Family Resource Centre and Crocus Plains Secondary School Scholarship Program. Registration begins at 11:30 A.M. with a 12:00 P.M. start. Return by 4:00 P.M. to pick your cards. BBQ and car show starts at 4:00 P.M. with M/C and music by Double Clutchin’ Dave, free viewing to the general public from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Dinsdale Park, just North of the River on 1st Street, Brandon. Bring your vehicle down for one of the first car shows of the year. Proceeds go towards helping families and children of Western Manitoba and students of Crocus Plains Secondary School automotive trades. Dash plaques to the first 100 poker derby and car show participants. Hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks, playground, and much more! Everyone welcome, cars, trucks, motorcycles, special interest vehicles.
