The prospect of dealing with a loved one's physi- cal decline is an accepted inevitability, but dealing with cognitive decline can come as a shock. Dementia comes in many forms and can start insidiously slow but become overwhelming in a heartbeat. Manitoba stop. But how can we care for aging family, friends, or ourselves if we don't know what currently has 18,400 people living with dementia, and by 2050, it is expected to reach over 39,100.
