Celebrated each year on March 8, International Women’s Day honours women’s social, economic, cultural and political achievements around the world. At the same time, the annual event serves as a call to action to accelerate gender parity. This year’s theme is “Each for Equal,” emphasizing that a gender equal world is an enabled world.
