People wishing to show their vehicles are encouraged to enter the event at the intersection of Rosser Avenue and 13th Street. All vehicles welcome. Free to participants and spectators. JULY 9 - SATURDAY 16TH ANNUAL LILY PAD CRUISERS SHOW N SHINE Lily Pad Cruisers are pleased to host our 16th annual Show n Shine. All antique, classics and special interest vehicles are welcome. Located on Hwy.# 9 and Netley Creek at the Mallard Duck Park. Show hours are from 11 a.m.- 3 P.M. Registration fee is “a tin for the bin” for the local food bank. Free registration with dash plaques for the first 125 vehicles registered. 8:30AM -10:00AM Free pancake and sausage breakfast. 10:00AM - 12:30PM Poker Run with prizes. Free lunch for Poker Run participants supplied by A&W. 1:00PM - 5:00PM SHOW & SHINE. Trophies for 'Best of Show', 'Best Ford', 'Best GM', 'Best Mopar', 'Best Import', 'Best Bike', 'Best Other'. It all starts with our Famous Pancake Breakfast and Registration at 9:00 a.m. at the Matlock Recreation Centre on Matlock Road, PR232, Matlock MB! Registration is $10.00. From Matlock the Poker Derby takes the 25km cruise along the lake and through cottage country into Gimli. The Show & Shine takes place on Centre Street from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. The first 350 cars will receive Dash Plaques. Should you wish to skip breakfast you can register in beautiful Downtown Gimli on Centre Street. There will be live entertainment and plenty of prizes all day long. Gimli Car Club is proud to say that our Club has raised over $70,000.00, for a variety of charities and scholarships for the Gimli and Winnipeg Beach areas.
