SEPTEMBER 17 - SATURDAY UNDER THE BOARDWALK SHOW ‘N SHINE In cooperation with the Gimli Car Club, our annual car show returns to our Main Street for another year. Registration Pancake Breakfast runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Community Centre on Hamilton Avenue. The show runs from noon until 4 p.m. There is no cost to enter a vehicle but please bring a “Tin for the Bin” for Evergreen Basic Needs. Goodie Bags for the first 100 entries. The show is open to all makes, motorcycles are welcome. Plaques and prizes from PartSouce & Total Performance for Best GM; Best Ford; Best Mopar; Best Truck; Best Import, Mayor’s Choice and the Grand Prize Competitors’ Choice! We will feature music all day long and a special performance from the TBA band 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Come out to the beach for a day of fun in the sun, filled with great food, sandy beaches live entertainment and an amazing array of custom & antique vehicles surrounded by the beauty of Lake Winnipeg. SEPTEMBER 17 - SATURDAY LSCF SHOW & SHINE
La Salle Community Fellowship is hosting a show and shine from 1:00pm-4:00pm. All proceeds will be donated to Union Gospel Mission to support their resident program for men & women seeking help in overcoming addiction, separate family, children and youth ministries for the underprivileged, a Christian K-12 school and an Adult Education program. They also sponsor more than 1000 youth to summer camps. We are located in La Salle Manitoba, about ten minutes south of the Perimeter Hwy. We are 1 mile west of Hwy 330 on Hwy 247. We have a large grass show area. Registration begins at 11:00am. Registration fee is $15.00. We have goodie bags for the first 50 registrants, door prizes, Chinese auction and trophies for people’s choice. We have live music again this year. There will be activities for children including goodie bags, face painting, slot car racing and a candy toss. Free admission for spectators. Find us on Facebook under LSCF Show & Shine.
