LEGENDS CAR CLUB INC. CLUB THEME: For enthusiasts who enjoy rides of all kinds. You don't have to own a vehicle to be a member or to participate. We host a cancer run each spring. We host our annual car show at the Sunflower Festival in the Centennial Park every July. We host a 1/8 mile drag race weekend at our local airport which we donate a portion of the net proceeds to charity. MANITOBA CLASSIC AND ANTIQUE AUTO CLUB CLUB THEME: Dedicated to the preservation, restoration and admiration of all vehicles 25 years and older. You don’t have to own a vehicle to be a member or to participate. We tend towards unmodified vehicles, but have an appreciation for all restored cars. MEETING INFO: November-April (winter), second Sunday the month, 2:00 PM. May-October (summer), second Thursday each month, 7:00 PM. We’ve all discovered that, compared to ICE vehicles, electric vehicles are cleaner, cheaper to operate, and accelerate faster (100% torque starting at zero km/h) - just a few of the many reasons why EVs are so much fun to drive! MEETING INFO: Usually at 7:00 pm, the last Thursday of every month, from January to November, in Room E2-350 of the U. of M. Engineering Building. (Check manitobaev.ca to be sure.) MANITOBA MOPAR ASSOCIATION CLUB THEME: The Manitoba MOPAR Association is a group of MOPAR (Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler, Desoto and AMC) enthusiasts. Our mandate is to responsibly enjoy our MOPARs and contribute to the promotion of the automotive hobby. We have a wide range of members who’s interests are from those who want to preserve the originality of the Oldsmobiles, to those who have an interest in customizing their Oldsmobiles. We share a common interest in giving back to the community & we have chose the ‘Childrens Rehabilitation Foundation’ as our charity of choice. We do an annual car show as a great way for our member & car enthusiasts to get together & show off their cars while raising money for our charity.
