LEGENDS CAR CLUB INC Club theme: For enthusiasts who enjoy rides of all kinds. You don’t have to own a vehicle to be a member or to participate. We host a 1/8 mile drag race weekend at our local airport which we donate a portion of the net proceeds to charity. Manitoba Electric Vehicle Association (MEVA) CLUB THEME: Manitoba Electric Vehicle Association (MEVA) members have discovered that electric motors are excellent alternatives to internal combustion engines (ICE) and drive trains. Electric vehicles (EVs) are cleaner, more reliable, cost much less to operate, and accelerate faster (100% torque starting at 0 km/h) - just a few of the many reasons why EVs are so much fun to drive! Some MEVA members purchased EVs and some converted ICE vehicles. You don’t have to own a vehicle to be a member or to participate. We tend towards unmodified vehicles, but have an appreciation for all restored cars.
