AUGUST 20 - SUNDAY 5TH ANNUAL CHILDHOOD DREAMS CAR SHOW For 2017, The 5th Annual Childhood Dreams Car Show will be held at the Healthy Living Center parking lot (corner of 18th Street and Victoria Avenue). Vehicle registration and entry fee is $10.00 and a non-perishable food item. Childhood Dreams Car Show will still be donating proceeds to the BRHC Foundation c/o the Pediatrics Neo-Natal intensive Care Unit as we have for the past 4 years. Show encompasses 5 closed blocks (1/4 mile) of Park Avenue. Free to all participants and spectators. Free BBQ picnic for car show participants after the show. Show area for motorcycles and any vehicle of interest. Please enter on West end of Park Avenue. Please bring a tin or donation for our local food bank.
This year will be the 15th 1/8 mile drags we host at our local airport in Altona. We have food and refreshments on site. Admissions are $10/day for adults, 12 and under $5/ day. Racers entry is $75/day, class winners win a cash payout each day. Pre-registration is a must as we only have 60 spots a day. The show and shine will take place from 9:00 AM till 3:00 PM in the parking area of the Veterans Memorial Sports Complex. All classic, special interest, and antique vehicles are welcome. Registration is $10.00 with partial proceeds going to a local charity. There will be lots of activities and entertainment for the whole family. This year we will be bringing back the Burnout Contest.
