There is no better feeling than creating space and watching folks unwind and feel comfortable in the queer space you’ve created,” he said.
Fernandes began his new role in April, which led to immediate, full-steam-ahead festival planning. Until the end of June, priorities include sponsorship, logistics, and leading the volunteer board of directors to execute festival planning.
