Sunday Meatloaf A true comfort classic, Sunday meatloaf takes you back to the days when dinner meant gathering around the table with family. Simple, hearty and full of retro charm, it’s the kind of meal that never goes out of style.
MAKE THE TOPPING In a small bowl, stir together ketchup, brown sugar and mustard. Spread the mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf. BAKE Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the centre is no longer pink and the internal temperature reaches 160 F.
INGREDIENTS 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 1 small onion, chopped 1 cup milk 1 cup dry breadcrumbs 1 egg Salt & pepper, to taste TOPPING 1/3 cup ketchup 2 tbsp brown sugar 2 tbsp yellow mustard
INSTRUCTIONS PREHEAT & PREP
Preheat your oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. MIX MEATLOAF In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, milk, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Mix well and transfer the mixture into the loaf pan.
