It is our community of staff, campers and alumni that supports us and defines who we are. We believe that camp should be open to any and all persons who wish to join this community, regardless of race, religion, culture or background. Camp Wannakumbac is a not-for-profit organization, with our sponsorship dollars coming from agricultural and co-operative based organizations. This year we are taking strides to be more welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community, giving our staff strategies for campers with self-confidence or mental health issues, and being a more sustainable facility. Camp Wannakumbac is a special place that we all love and share, and we strive to make every camper feel welcome. Wannakumbac has six choices of weeklong co-ed camps for children eight to 15 years old. We offer all the traditional activities kids have come to love, including canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, campouts and many more. What sets us apart is our unique weekly programming, where campers are encouraged to socialize and work together, ultimately resulting in newly formed friendships. The programs are planned so each camper will take home exciting memories of their week with us and ensures that every year there will always be new experiences. The camp is located steps away from Clear Lake, right beside Riding Mountain National Park. We utilize our natural surroundings to contribute to your child's mental, physical and educational growth. Wannakumbac is accredited by both the Manitoba Camping Association and the Canadian Camping Association. ● COME AS YOU ARE c a m p s d a y S u m m er July 2 - August 30, 2019 123 Doncaster St. | 204-477-7510 | radyjcc.com FREE Pre & Post Camp Care Registration Now Open!
