stablished in 2017, the program encompasses RBC's
10-year commitment to helping prepare Canada's
youth between the ages of 15 and 29 for the future
world of work.
"Right now, work is changing. Through disruption, the skills
required to thrive are changing," said RBC regional president
Kim Ulmer. "Young people are experiencing what we call the
Quiet Crisis — the cycle of no experience, no job."
Through consultation with youth-serving and youth-
benefitting organizations across Canada, RBC has identified
three key areas to help break the cycle.
The first area involves access to knowledge networks.
"We know 85 per cent of jobs are found through
networking," Ulmer said. "We will invest in programs and
partnerships to help facilitate networking opportunities."
Next, the second area focuses on work-integrated learning.
"Through supporting co-op initiatives and work experience
