Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day. The WCB is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace today and every day. June is National Indigenous History month. During this month, we commemorate the diverse cultures, successes, and resiliency of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people. We honour and stand with Tk'emlups te Secwepmc First Nation and our relatives as we reflect on our history, resiliency of those with us, and those who came before us. Many Winnipeggers are wondering what they can do to show support in the wake of this discovery. We would encourage people to read the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls for Action numbers 71-76 with regards to Missing Children and Burial Information. Join us as a Partner of Winnipeg's Indigenous Accord for opportunities to build knowledge with friends and colleagues.
