"With the (COVID-19 pandemic)
changing how and where we work, it has
become important to have plans that
incorporate space for a home office and
an area for children to do homework or
classes from home," MacTavish says.
"They also took into account busy
families with pets. The side entrance is
a great idea for allowing your pet out
instead of through the dining room,
where there is hardwood."
Two bedrooms and a family bathroom
share a small wing at the front of
the home, directly off the foyer
but completely separated from the
potentially noisy garage entry on the
opposite side of the house. They're also
tucked out of the way of the great room
and primary bedroom, which is at the
rear of the home.
The smaller bedroom has a window
nook that's ideal for a homework desk.
IT HAS BECOME IMPORTANT TO HAVE PLANS THAT
INCORPORATE SPACE FOR A HOME OFFICE AND
AN AREA FOR CHILDREN TO DO HOMEWORK.
