What's new in kitchens and baths for 2022
By Pat St. Germain
>> INTERIOR DESIGNERS got to check out
all the latest technology and style trends at the 2022
Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in mid-February.
Organizers of the trade show, billed as Where the
Future is Defined, expected some 450 exhibitors
to showcase their newest wares, with displays of
everything from shower drains and flooring to ice
makers and range hoods.
Typically, big-name brands like Kohler, GE, Moen and
LG Electronics participate, along with lesser-known
brands based in Europe and Asia. Some are winners
destined to become kitchen and bath classics. Others
are more likely to be passing fancies. But they're all
fun to check out. Notable innovations on display
included:
• Atlas Hardware and Top Knobs (pictured above)
confirmed that metallic finishes like honey bronze and
sleek, elongated styles in drawer pulls and cabinetry
handles are still in vogue. Phew!
