Garage
Since there isn't a lot of width to play with in the garage
— unless you plan on leaving your vehicles outside — Boisselle finds creative ways to utilize the space. Cabinets are
No. 1, she says. And slat walls with
hooks are fabulous for keeping rakes
and shovels at bay, as well as hand
tools and fishing rods.
'One client wanted hockey
lockers, so we did five of
them in his garage for all
of his hockey gear.'
Cubbies and small drawers for cleaning and car products are also handy,
as are overhead racks that secure
bikes in place while conserving space.
And then there are the sporting
goods.
"One client wanted hockey lockers, so
we did five of them in his garage for all of his hockey gear,"
Boisselle says. "And he actually got name plates for the top
of them. That was really cool.
"In another garage we did a gardening centre with a potting shed. She has a bench where she can do her plants."
Rosehill also works with homeowners to plan and outfit
well-organized garages and Stalwart Appliances by Design
carries the Gladiator Garage Works line of creative storage
solutions.
