Many guests, employees and visitors have encoun- tered strange noises and ghostly $gures moving around. Some believe the hauntings are the re- sult of the murder of Grace Edith Cook, a young waitress strangled by a suitor named Albert Victor Westgate in one of the rooms. On Friday, November 14 , 2014, from 7:00-11:00 pm, !e Marlborough Hotel will be hosting a late night ghost tour and séance in conjunction with Paracon, a conference dedicated to paranormal research. It will feature Maureen Flynn, author of Buckle My Shoe, a novel about ghostly events set in !e Marlborough.
