Proceeds from all-you-can-eat meal, with desserts from Kawaii Crepe, are donated to Winnipeg Harvest. The Give 30 campaign asks people to support food banks during Ramadan, when Muslims engage in 30 days of fasting and spiritual contemplation. The original idea — that people could donate money they would have spent on coffee and food to a food bank — has grown to encompass all faiths, and raised almost $250,000 in its first three years.
