"We had a really good response to them," she says. "I've seen the area totally change since I started work- ing here. There are a lot more options now — it makes go- ing out for lunch a lot easier." Cho venevongsa, one of the masterminds behind Wasabi, has noticed the change as well. His newest venture, Cho- sabi Asian Eatery, will open on King Street in December. "The Exchange District feels like a big city. It has so much potential and I just wanted to be a part of it," he says. Chosabi was designed for the young professionals who work in the area. "It's going to be fast casual. We're catering to people who don't have much time for lunch," venevongsa says. "We're going to offer sushi, Thai food, vietnamese sand- wiches, Chinese and Filipino food — a good mix. We'll have big coolers, and people will be able to grab whatever they want." Another quick lunch option in the area is Miss Browns Hot Pressed Sandwich and Coffee Co. Owners Jenny Tyrrell and her husband Steve also make a mean breakfast. "We were really attracted by the growing development in The Exchange, the architec- ture, the artsy scene. There's a vibe going on," Tyrrell says.
