PAGE 8 JUNE 2016 LONG PLAINS WINNIPEG GAS STATION: TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE Let me tell you about customer service from a First Nations business. I dropped off a friend one bright morning last month with a quick visit to the gas station Long Plains First Nation has on their urban reserve. It was a little after eight a.m. and I thought it would be open. There were cars lined up at every pump but one gas jockey, the station is full service, came running over to apologize quite sincerely that it wasn't open yet. That gentleman was none other than Anthony Abigosis. Thanks dude. I spelled his name wrong the first try and he lifted up his uniform shirt to reveal a tattoo of his last name. I didn't mind. In fact, I burst out laughing. And Mr. Abigosis had to tell people over and over again that the station wasn't open yet until a supervisor showed up to open up the gas station. Mr. Abigosis handled the situation well and soon enough the pumps were working. And people were on their way. Mr. Abigosis By Trevor Greyeyes GREA EA EA EATP TPLAINS.
