COMFORTABLE FOOTWEAR
is a must to avoid tired and sore
tootsies. There are loads of activities
to explore, and there will definitely
be dancing at the main stage!
WARM CLOTHES if it's a cooler
night, pack a light sweater or hoodie.
Add a pair of sunglasses or a hat
for shade. This isn't a fashion show.
It's about maximum comfort to
ensure you enjoy the celebration.
BRING A BLANKET or short beach
chairs to sit on. Be ready to stake out
your home base for Aboriginal Day
Live. Arrive early and you'll get one
of the best spots at the main stage.
BUG SPRAY to keep the critters away.
A CONTAINER or two for you own water.
Replenish your fluids throughout the day.
A CAMERA but the one on your
cell phone is best. Snap away! Use
#ADL2016 to tweet or post your
photos – they might be added to the live
broadcast of Aboriginal Day Live!
CASH if you would like to treat yourself
at the pop-up market, featuring
artisans and food vendors who will be
showcasing their unique creations.
INVITE YOUR FRIENDS, family and pals.
The day is part of the largest celebration
of National Aboriginal Day in Canada!
