THE LARGEST NATIONAL ABORIGINAL DAY CELEBRATION IS MAKING ITS WAY ACROSS THE NATION! BY PAMELA VERNAUS, APTN COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR On June 21, 2017, Aboriginal Day Live (ADL) will be the largest National Aboriginal Day celebration this country has ever witnessed, under the banner - Eight Cities. One Great Gathering! It will bring Canadians together to acknowledge Aboriginal Peoples' accomplishments, through cultural activities and live music, while contributing to the nationwide movement of reconciliation. Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) will bring ADL to eight cities: Halifax, Montréal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Yellowknife, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
