It promises to save you 10 hours of paperwork with its format.
Google Keep (keep.google.com) is a free list-keeping app
ideal for the nomad who wants to do it their way. Make lists by
typing, write with your finger or stylus onscreen, or use voice-to-
transcription. Any list can be turned into a checklist with boxes.
You can prioritize, pin, colour-code, search and share your notes
and more. Find it at Google Play and the App Store.
YouTube videos can help jumpstart your pre-move de-cluttering
spree. Search "de-clutter for moving house" to properly narrow
your parameters. A de-clutter lifestyle channel will send you down
a minimalist rabbit hole.

MAKE HARD COPIES
Digital help is great, but you still need an old-school organized
binder. Print realtor and mortgage information, utility account
numbers, selected passwords, contracts, insurance contacts, your
new address and postal code, special instructions and to-do lists,
along with new school information and local amenities — if it can
go on paper, file it here. Why go analog? Because if you have a
tech failure you can still function.
IT'S TOOL TIME
Load a large, easy-to-grab carry-all with a tape gun (worth buying),
scissors, a box cutter, medium- or large-tip black markers, stick-
on labels, work gloves, a pad of paper and pen, and cleaning
cloths for dusting as you pack. Buy or selectively gather clean
boxes, plastic totes and packing materials such as bubble wrap or
newspaper.
