on your Certified Energy Efficient
new home, you could qualify
for a mortgage insurance
premium refund!*
Here's how:
1. Have your mortgage insurance
through Canadian Mortgage and
Housing Corporation (CMHC),
Canada Guaranty, or Sagen
2. Provide either the EnerGuide
label or Certificate of Energy
Efficiency to your mortgage
insurer, along with an application
form, within 24 months of the
closing date of your mortgage
3. Receive a cheque for 25%
of the value of your mortgage
insurance loan premiums
4. Enjoy your Certified Energy
Efficient new home!
*The mortgage insurance premium refund
is calculated based on your purchase price,
down payment, mortgage insurance premium,
and your mortgage insurance premium rate.
