REGISTER TODAY FOR: Aerospace Manufacturing Technician PROGRAM OVERVIEW - Aerospace Manufacturing Technician is a certificate pro- gram. The program consists of training specific to the Aerospace industry and includes the following areas of study: Introduction to Aerospace Manufacturing; Safety and Tool Handling; Blueprint Reading; Process Specifications; Honeycombe Core Fabrica- tion; Composite Fabrication, Assembly and Repair; Trim; Inspection; Sheet Metal and Exterior Finishing. CAREER OPPORTUNITIES - Upon successful completion of the program graduates are able to work within the aerospace and manufacturing industry. The aerospace industry offers rewarding employment in a growing industry. Graduates have employ- ment opportunities with a number of companies that repair or manufacture composite structures. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS - Grade 12 is required; however, consideration will be given to applicants who are able to attend upgrading to fulfill the grade level require- ment. Applicants must have a clear criminal record, specifically with any crimes related to breach of trust crimes. • Upgrading is available on-site through the Aboriginal Community Campus. • Aerospace information sessions are held every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Room 304. • All applicants are required to take the Level Placement Test (LPT). • The LPT test is held every Monday and Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in Room 304. Starting Wage - $18.00 per hour Length - 7 month program Tuition - Tuition is individually based.
